Find a karaoke bar and sing Coma Molpy Style and post it to youtube.

No, not really but it's the first molpish thing I thought of.
More seriously, it all depends on whether there's something after t** e** of the world. If there isn't, then nothing we do matters. If there is, then what we do is vitally important.

I would continue doing whatever I was doing. I expect all OTTers would too. We've seen T** **d and we know there's time after Time. So, there must be Time after time. We'll just Wait For It.

Worldifying. Good on them.

- Optimisation of Automata Assemble
- Automata Control starts from 1 since it's now detached from Production Control
- AC upgrade price fix (was checking wrong value... and I made it use Blocks. and was too cheap)
- AC locked and reset. It's now harder to get. Getting more NewPixBots will help get it. See Free Advice
- Badgers price fix
- Some new Ninja Badges

So merging that was more complicated that it should have been :P But there it is.

Time-Capsule from Mrob27, Deposited NP711
Do not open until NP1603

My TARDIS somehow landed on Craig Ferguson's desk yesterdix (warning: CBS late-night, part of dialogue is risqué/NSFW), so my headers are in quasi-German!

二十七 die Reisebericht. 七十二

Cuegan reached the wowtrees, and the OTTers are thouroughly into the Madagascar debate. Strongbad was mentioned (though not the first time); Vytron used a time vortex and arrived in the present, but not before leaving his mark in the OTC.

The OTTers raised the poetic bar by combining double-dactyls with double anagrams and the results were stunning. Glowing testimonials to the OTT continue. Discussion of Bacon and Erdös numbers mustardly led to an uncharacteristic hesitancy of @BlitzGirl, who delayed her beautiful 2nd Boom-de-Yada. And @Kieryn continues innovating in his Time dedication.

A sad milestone -- I am now past Newpage 694 and newpix m1549, which are halfway to T** **dp. However, I have also reached the point where my location in newpix numercally exceeds the Newpage number of your Present Image so I'm getting closer!

二十七 die retro-OTTzierung. 七十二

It's been a little while since
Image

Another #71 (to add to BlitzGirl's non-retro version):

SQUIRPY
Image
(Spoiler-free for NP692 or later)
Title Text: She's actually more of a "squirpy-furry" than a true squirpy,
but I stopped debating that point when I saw
how nimbly she leaps from one tree to another.

二十七 die Korrespondenz. 七十二

I've been noticing an almost-Zanclean wave of OTTercomic ottys (by @TheMinim particularly). Ch*rping awefulsome! And @BlitzGirl and @svenman have been doing a stunningly seaish amount of work adding things to the wiki. Thank you -- I've been saving the images, but uploading to Wikia seems kinda clumsy. You're being very thorough, but I'll probably still double-check against my collection (which is sorted by Newpage) one of these mips...

@BlitzGirl reminds me that it would be nice if the clever-spoiler script would scroll the content so that when you click the "hide" button, it would scroll the content such that the original "show" button ends up being right where the "hide" button was. There was some discussion of this by those who (unlike me) could JavaScript their way out of a paper bag yips ago, and I think they concluded that it was kinda too hard to do.

@ucim asks, "And what is an EPenis?". It's a type of EMail, check your spam folder and get a 3D printer.

@AluisioASG, no citation necessary, point taken. The Dragon Team was an Ender's Game reference. BTW, I did manage to find the avatar I was looking for, in the broswer cache on one of my other machines. :)
Concerning old avatars, @balthasar_s asks the more basic question, "What would you need them for?".
Good point! I think there are more reasons than I've run into, but here's my answer: There are lots of discussions about avatars before- and after-hatting. @buffygirl's creations are often so different from the pre-hatted version that the discussion makes no sense. Avatars change for non-hatting reasons too. Future blitzers will be confused by the recent brainslug/Halloween thing you guys up in the Future were doing, particularly when you talk about your avatars. Out of consideration for future Blitzers, I think preserving the old images is the least we can do.
You seem to agree, as I see that OTTers have been posting their past avatars for the record, and adding them to a page on the OTW. I had not been aware of @Sciscitor's collection, which is very useful, and our recent efforts should help fill in the gaps (I notefor example that Sciscitor missed many of the brainslugs).
@edo's avatar is a wowtree, which seemed surreal until I reached NP 676. It may have been a "spoiler", but that's sorta moot so long after the OTC has epenispenised. But it's treeish to be able to see what these avatars should have looked like.
BTW @balthasar_s, I love your ENHANCE animation!

@Earthling on Mars has slug-repellant force fields, a very good precaution; Conspirobot says I think you're safe. I hear that penisbees might help too.

@lmjb1964 notes @BlitzGirl's "cool smiley" Image, and by coincidence I just Blitzed her first use of it, way back on NP700 (and yep, I saved it :) )

@lmjb1964 notes "... I also hadn't heard of Jonathan Coulton til the OTT. I love all the things of his I've heard, but I really need to listen to more." What a marvelous segue into my section on documenting the OTT:

二十七 die Blitzreisendenrekordarchivierung 七十二

Jonathan Coulton is first mentioned as an example of a mis-parsed haiku, unsurprisingly by @Angelastic. I was surprised at how few times his name appears in the OTT, given how often his songs, etc. are referenced -- for example @BlitzGirl linked to JoCo's "IKEA" song on NP375, with no mention of his name. So here's my List of References to Jonathan Coulton in the OTT :
Spoiler:'d for treeishness, and some melancholia in the late NP1200'sp:
Spoiler:
Somewhat poignant and timely, these lyrics support my sense that the need for this is nigh in my afterwhen, and know that it too shall pass.
Hey molpies! @Angelastic uses GarageBand too! :)
"Hooray, hooray, it's the first of May / Outside ch*rping begins today" was a popular Beltane chant among my pagan friends, and its origins predate JoCo by decades if not centuries.

@Eternal Density and @BlitzGirl briefly discussed the origins of the newword "weepend". As BG noted, it was coined here on NP1452 by @AluisioASG; the first time it was used by somebody else (and not in a quote) was on NP1539 by @Eternal Density.
This newwords thing is something I've been wanting to address since I created the index that I announced in my firstpost. I've just upgraded that page to include newword links. As the header text explains, a "newword" must (among other things) be used at least 7 times and by at least two users (where mere quoting does not count for second-author-usage). There is the expected bias towards early Newpages, and there are lots of extra listings, but it achieves the main objective: for example, I list squirpy next to frame m1544 (a few frames after the squirpy first appeared in the OTC).
The results are clearly different from Kieryn's version which ranks the words differently and shows a maximum of three newwords per newpix. I think both versions are useful :) As an example, mine alone lists skimblitz while Kieryn's alone lists tyrrhenian.
Mine has plenty of flaws -- for example BlitzGirl's (OTT:295:23) escapes being considered a username, and somebody's (OTT:207:12) escapes being detected as standard English -- but it still accomplishes the main goal of listing the most popular newwords in context next to the frame/ONG and Newpage where they were coined.

My big 'ol brainslug reply put Jonathan Coulton in my ear and I just couldn't stop OTTifying more and more... I'm thrilled that you like the result. I'm even a little more happy about the experience of making it, and I actually didn't get tired of it while writing, arranging or recording the song.

Wow, bummer of a decree, @AluisioASG... :( uhhh, I think I'll reverse @azule's suggestion and wield my powers as retro-paradoxical something-or-other to reflect that decree backwards through Time into

What would you have been doing if the past 24 newpix had been the world's first?

That's much better. And the answer shall have worked itself out, so no bother.

Checking in. After many false starts I can reliably get 20 TSand/NP on CB. However, as I'm only producing around 6 GCastles/ONG and the nearest boost is 2TCastles (Flying Buckets) I suppose I'm just going to have to WFI.

Oh, I also wanted to say that I love the OTTIfications, the Colourations, the Continuations and the Conversations here. Keep waiting.

Sounds like I missed some drama with ChronosDragon. Well, his current avatar looks very cool.

Sure, it's a teeny-tiny very riverish island.

And with that, I must coma.

If you can stand on it, it's land. Parts of molpies included. (I wouldn't recommend it though)

mrob27 wrote:@BlitzGirl reminds me that it would be nice if the clever-spoiler script would scroll the content so that when you click the "hide" button, it would scroll the content such that the original "show" button ends up being right where the "hide" button was. There was some discussion of this by those who (unlike me) could JavaScript their way out of a paper bag yips ago, and I think they concluded that it was kinda too hard to do.

Not really, I just did it. Now, if you want to keep track of multiple opened spoilers, then you have a problem. Hm, or maybe not. I just need to use relative offsets.

But it was seeing my Dixie as a fabric redundakitty that really made me squee. :D And Dixie was excited too! (Well, ok, not really. She is a cat. She just went to sleep.) I don't know how you make those fabric colorifications, but they are so cool and so different.

P.S. Dixie says that if there's a hi res version of that pic, she would love to hang it up somewhere. And I'm pretty sure it will be my new laptop wallpaper...

Yay! So glad you liked it! Originally, I made it at that size, but looking back, I scaled the fabric textures down, so there was no reason not to make it bigger. So here is a 2.5x version that still stays within the resolution of all the textures:
Spoiler:

I also made a 4x version that pushes it a little on some of the fabrics, but is still within the resolution of the flowery print, and I think it holds up. Unfortunately the forum software seems to upload it and then tells me it's invalid. Maybe it's just too big to upload? It's 3mb.... If you'd like that, I'll find some other way to get it to you.

Still Waiting...(OTTification of Still Hurting, from the Last Five Years)
Spoiler:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1zV0pRcXus#t=84
OTC is over and OTC is gone
Randall's decided it's time to move on
Randall has new dreams he's building upon
And I'm still Waiting…

OTC arrived at the end of its time
Randall's convinced that the Newpix are mine
Randall is probably working just fine
And I'm still waiting…

What about TIME, Randall?
What about things
That we guessed to be true
What about you, OTC,
What about you

OTC is sure something wonderful died
Randall decides it's his right to decide
OTC's got secrets it doesn't confide
And I'm still Waiting…

Go and draw and run away
Run away, run and find something better
Go and cast the OTT away
Cast it away like it's simple
Like it's right...

Give me a dip,Randall
Bring back newpix
post them back on the site!
Maybe I'd see
How you could be
So certain that we
Could withstand the blight…

OTC is over and where can I turn?
Covered with scars I did too much to earn
Maybe there's somewhere a lesson to learn
But that wouldn't change the fact
That wouldn't speed the TIME
Once the ending’s come back
And I'm
Still Waiting…

Edit:
OH. Oh my. I fear something has gone terribly wrong. I appear to have been bizzaro'd. Does anyone have a cream to clear this up?
